Hosts are also responsible for for staffing volunteers for the night of, and can contact local restaurants for dish and drink donations. Hosts are welcome to choose a theme for the evening, and decorate as they see fit.
BECOME A HOST
Becoming a host is easy. Click the button above for a form you can fill out letting us know of your interest. We will need to know the name of your group and a contact person, and we highly recommend choosing a back up date as well as your first choice. It also helps us tremendously to know more about your group, and have provided a space on the form for you to tell us about yourselves.
Once we have confirmed your hosting date, you can get to work planning. We will create an event page for the dinner, and you are welcome to promote on any of your group's social media accounts. We will also maintain a sign up sheet for those attending, and can share that information with you if needed.
Your duties as host will include staffing volunteers for the evening of the dinner. You can do this in whatever way works best for your organization, but we are happy to provide links to the tools that have been helpful for us. You are also welcome to solicit local restaurants for donations of food or drink (no pork and no alcohol, please), and create a theme for decorating.
Butterfly Boxes and Catholic Charities will provide all dishware, silverware, cups, and napkins.
