Get creative and send a handmade welcome.
Our family has a long tradition of saying "Welcome" with handmade gifts. Every new family member is greeted with a group-made quilt. So it's only fitting that Butterfly Boxes welcome new community members with something handmade. Whether your craft is fabric, fiber, or paper based, whether your crafter is an adult or child, we have ideas for all.

If you are interested in sending something handmade to Butterfly Boxes, please visit the Contact Us page to arrange a pick up/drop off.

FABRIC AND FIBER

**Remember to use materials that are easy to wash and care for, and avoid using buttons or other small objects on baby items.**

Some of the standard items in Butterfly Boxes are begging to be handmade - baby blankets & hats, dolls & softies, or simple household items like washcloths. We've found the free patterns below, but they are just a start! Use your imagination and creativity to create any handmade gift you'd like to include.

WELCOME NOTES

Our hope is that every Butterfly Box can include a handwritten "Welcome".  This is a perfect project for kids wanting to help, and would be a fun group activity.  Please use a 4"x6" card, and include a word of welcome.  Use your creativity to make them bright and colorful and welcoming.
